Our radar works
'We expect Saudi to create price volatility through periods of over-and-underproduction in order to discourage investment in industrial or unconventional liquids - especially US tight oil'

Global Oil Forecasting Service (NBROF)
Our process of Dynamic Iterative ForecastingTM, or DIF-ing, provides our future narrative for the global Liquid Hydrocarbons market, which forms part of the annual NBR Global Oil Forecasting Service (NBROF).
NBROF is not a static “there it is” forecast. We provide clients with our Annual Forecast in the form of a 200+ page book (PDF version also provided), but over the course of the subscription year our forecast is an open dialogue between NBR and the client.
NBROF includes 32 hours of consulting time, whereby clients can engage with NBR analysts to challenge aspects of the forecast, drill into detail on particular forecasts, or even build the clients’ own assumptions or scenarios into our DIF process.
Within the Annual Forecast, we identify various WatchPointsTM – events, risks or technologies that could or will have a significant impact on future oil flows and therefore price. We monitor these WatchPoints throughout the service year through three Quarterly Updates, forecasting what impact they will have on our future narrative; if any.
This provides NBR clients with a strategic radar for detecting, anticipating and managing business threats and opportunities within the global Liquids market.
The full NBROF package costs £40,000 per annum, and includes:
